Community Focused
Keeping it Local
Our programs and services are geared to the people who live and work in the City of San Diego every day. We discover, grow and support startups and businesses right here in our backyard — especially those that reflect the diversity of San Diego’s neighborhoods.
Celebrating our Business Community
San Diego Runs on Startups and Small Businesses
By assisting San Diego entrepreneurs and their companies, we are investing in our community at large. These companies go on to create jobs filled by employees who use their wages to support the local economy. They dine at local restaurants, shop at local stores and get services from local businesses. CONNECT ALL @ the Jacobs Center helps entrepreneurs and companies build their businesses here in San Diego, which greatly benefits our community and economy.
Our accelerator program and Business Resource Center give you an edge over the competition. In the accelerator, we can help fast track your startup through mentoring, workspace, seminars, workshops, training and networking opportunities. In the Business Resource Center, we provide resources to help start or scale your business.
Power of Collective Action
Working Together to Support San Diego Startups
Our donors and funders all share a common purpose: To improve and increase opportunities for local entrepreneurs to start, scale and support community- and world- changing businesses. Thanks to our passionate, purposeful funders, we’re finding ways to reward innovators and create positive impact in communities throughout San Diego. This program is funded in whole or in part with Community Development Block Grant program funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to the City of San Diego.
Private funding is also provided by partners MUFG Union Bank N.A. and bkm OfficeWorks.
A New Accelerator Model
Exceptional Partners Support CAJC.
We’re proud of the partners who are contributing to CONNECT ALL @ the Jacobs Center and their pay-it-forward attitude. But don’t take our word for it. Check out what our funders say about why they are part of the CAJC accelerator and Business Resource Center experiences.
MUFG Union Bank supports local community programs that expand access to opportunity in low and moderate income communities where we do business. CONNECT ALL @ the Jacobs Center is a perfect manifestation of that vision. We are proud to support an initiative that will help uplift budding entrepreneurs in San Diego’s diverse communities.
